The Magic now have 15 players on the roster after adding Brian Cook and Maurice Evans from the Lakers in the trade of Trevor Ariza back in November. To fit both Cook and Evans, they had to waive veteran Bo Outlaw. Rookie center Marcin Gortat is back with the team after a short stint in the D-League. PLAYER NOTES:
--C Dwight Howard recorded his NBA-best 62nd double-double this season, getting 11 points and 16 rebounds. His offense had not been good lately, being held under 20 points for the fifth time in his last six games.
--G Maurice Evans continues his great 3-point shooting lately. Evans has hit at least 50 percent of his 3-point shots in each of the last five games. In those games, he is 11 of 18 from long distance.
--F Brian Cook, whose role is to hit shots in reserve, has cooled considerably lately. In the last four games, Cook has hit only five of 22 shots, and he has hit 50 percent of his shots only once in the last seven games.
