Heat at Magic

Heat at Magic
WHERE: Amway Arena, Orlando.

RECORDS: Magic 25-7; Heat 17-13.

ON THE AIR: TV -- FSN Florida; Radio -- 580 AM (WDBO), Spanish-language 1030 AM (WONQ)

Magic UPDATE: Orlando, which saw its seven-game win streak end in Detroit on Monday, won two of three games on the road trip. . . . The Magic can match the best 33-game start in team history with a win. The 1994-95 and 1995-96 teams were both 26-7. . . . Orlando has won nine consecutive games in the series. . . . SG Keith Bogans will test his sprained right ankle at today's shootaround to see if he can play. He sustained the injury Wednesday in Chicago. SG J.J. Redick (shoulder) is expected to play. There was no update available Thursday on SG Courtney Lee (sprained right ankle).

Heat UPDATE: Miami already has won two more games than it did all last season when it posted the worst record in the NBA . . . . SG Dwyane Wade leads the league in scoring at 28.7. Wade played in just two games against the Magic last season, but scored 48 and 32 points in those outings. . . . Rookie F Michael Beasley, who played in the Orlando Summer League, is averaging 13.0 ppg. . . . The Heat's last win against the Magic came on Feb. 15, 2006, in Orlando. Daequan Cook and rookie point guard Mario Chalmers combined to shoot 11-for-14 from 3-point range in a victory against the Cavaliers on Tuesday.

KEY MATCHUP: Who wants to cover D-Wade? Any volunteers? The assignment is expected to fall to Bogans, but he'll need help.
