Q:Hey, Brian: What do you think about Rick Barry's comments on LeBron's game? - Oliver Barrett, Cleveland. A:Hey, Oliver: Barry has some fair points and I don't think true Cavs fans would totally disagree about his jumper, which is LeBron's greatest offensive weakness at times. However, he has not given LeBron credit for the improvements he's made in his game over the past couple seasons. Especially when it comes to his mid-range jumper.
Q:Hey, Brian: The Cavs have worn some mighty ugly throwback uniforms several times this season. Even Joe Tait has complained long and loud about them. Exactly who is it in the team PR department that decides what uniform the team will wear? - Steve Gaylo, Thompson.
A:Hey, Steve: You can only buy so many white or wine No. 23 jerseys, right? The more colors, the more they'll sell.
Q:Hey, Brian: Seeing as how much Jameer Nelson has improved and turned into a quality NBA player in Orlando, do you consider this another example of the ineptitude of the Cavs' previous regime? (The Cavs drafted Luke Jackson over Nelson.) - Jeff Jones, Kent.
A:Hey, Jeff: Well, Nelson was taken 20th and Jackson 10th in 2004. What about Andris Biedrins 11th, Al Jefferson 15th or Josh Smith 17th? There are mistakes and successes in every draft by numerous teams. When Nelson signed his contract extension just two years ago, teams thought the Magic vastly overpaid. The same Magic front office drafted Fran Vazquez with the 11th pick the next year after badly miscalculating his intentions to stay in Europe. No one has the market cornered, but the Cavs have struggled with first-round picks.
