Magic at Blazers, 10

Magic at Blazers, 10
*WHERE: Rose Garden, Portland, Ore.

*RECORDS: Magic 16-5; Trail Blazers 15-7.

*ON THE AIR: TV -- Sun Sports; Radio -- 580 AM (WDBO), Spanish-language 1030 AM (WONQ)

*Magic UPDATE: Orlando is looking for its first victory of the season against the Trail Blazers after losing to them 106-99 at Amway Arena on Nov. 20. . . . F Hedo Turkoglu had a season-high 35 points and C Dwight Howard 29 in a loss that ended the Magic's four-game winning streak against Portland. . . . SG J.J. Redick lost his starting job and was replaced Monday night in Los Angeles against the Clippers by Keith Bogans. . . . C Marcin Gortat (sprained left ankle) has made a quicker recovery than expected and is available to play this trip.

*Trail Blazers UPDATE: Portland, coming off a 98-97 win against the Toronto Raptors on the road, is leading the Northwest Division of the Western Conference by a half game over the red-hot Denver Nuggets. . . . The Blazers have won eight of their past 10. They took a 13-point lead against the Magic in Orlando and held on behind 20-point efforts from G Brandon Roy, G Steve Blake and F Travis Outlaw. . . . C Greg Oden, who missed all of last season after knee surgery, is in the starting lineup ahead of veteran Joel Przybilla. On Sunday, Oden posted a double-double against the Raptors with 10 rebounds and 10 rebounds, and added two blocks.

*KEY MATCHUPS: It's the first meeting ever between Howard and Oden, who was still recovering from a foot injury and did not play in Orlando. . . . Keeping Roy under control will be Job 1 for Bogans.
