The Magic shut down Michael Redd, the Bucks' leading scorer, taking away any chance they had for a victory. The Bucks already had lost twice in the last 10 days to the lowly Miami Heat.

The Bucks tried intentionally fouling Howard early, hoping he would miss his free throws, but when he made eight of 10 in the first quarter, they abandoned the strategy.

The Magic hit 10 of 28 from three-point range, compared to just three of 12 for the Bucks.
