--J.J. Redick received the team's "Iron Magic" award this weekend, receiving a belt made specifically for him that looked like a WWE championship belt. The award was based on a series of strength, speed and agility tests given by the team's training staff. "I've always done well in standardized tests," he joked. --The Magic had only nine players available to play Sunday night in Oklahoma City because Vince Carter (ankle), Ryan Anderson (ankle), Rashard Lewis (suspension) and Adonal Foyle (knee) were not available. It didn't help that Matt Barnes had flu-like symptoms, but he played. --The Magic know they aren't going to win all their road games, but the margin of defeat Sunday -- 28 points -- was a little surprising. Only once last season did they lost that badly. They lost by 32 points in New Orleans. QUOTE TO NOTE: "We've got a long way to go. We're just not very good right now." -- Coach Stan Van Gundy.
