 --Dwight Howard is taking offense to the comments made by TNT analyst Charles Barkley, who recently criticized Howard for the lack of development in the offensive side of his game. "I know I'm getting better," Howard said. "Sooner or later, it's going to come. Rome wasn't built in a day." --The loss of Jameer Nelson, an All-Star last season, hasn't been as costly as people might have expected. Nelson, who has been injured often in his career, is out now after knee surgery. In the last two seasons, the Magic are 45-19 in games that Nelson started. In games without Nelson -- using Rafer Alston, Jason Williams or Anthony Johnson as the starter -- they are 43-21.
