: --Magic coach Stan Van Gundy wasn't happy to hear about the firing of Nets coach Lawrence Frank. He believes that Frank was merely a victim of circumstances. "Everybody there was hurt. That one, to me, I shake my head," Van Gundy said. "Did everybody think they were losing because of coaching? You look at the lineup that he had to put on the floor every night. I thought he was doing a remarkable job. That's probably as little talent as I've seen anyone put on the floor for a long time with everyone hurt." --The Magic will be trying to match a franchise record in their next road game, Dec. 5 at Golden State. They have won six consecutive road games, one short of the franchise record, set at the start of the 2007-08 season. If they beat the Warriors, they can set the record the next night in Los Angeles against the Clippers.
QUOTE TO NOTE: "That was the first time that you could see he really had it going," -- Magic coach Stan Van Gundy, referring to Rashard Lewis, who missed the first 10 games of the season because of a suspension.
