--The Magic improved to 6-0 this season when they have six players in double figure scoring. They had six in the victory over the Knicks Wednesday. --Magic coach Stan Van Gundy was named NBA Eastern Conference Coach of the Month for games played in October and November. The Western Conference coach was Alvin Gentry of the Suns, who lost to the Knicks on the day the award was announced. "Always happens like that," Van Gundy said.
--As part of the NBA Hardwood Classics Nights series, the Magic wore the uniforms from the first year in franchise history (1989-90). The Magic are one of seven teams this season that will honor the history of basketball by wearing uniforms from various decades in their history.
