--Stan Van Gundy remains in the hunt to be the Eastern Conference All-Star coach, but only if the Cavaliers lose their next two games and the Magic beats Toronto on Sunday. The coach is based on the best record after games of Feb. 1. Boston's Doc Rivers, because he coached it last year, is not eligible. If Van Gundy and Cleveland's Mike Brown are tied, Brown gets the nod because Van Gundy has been there before. --One reason for the Magic's improved season is that they have become better at home. A year ago, they were 13-9 at home through 22 games. This season they are 18-4.
