Orlando Magic Notes, Quotes 2009-05-11
--For a team that has a reputation bordering on soft, the Magic have been in the principal's office quite a bit lately. In the first two playoff rounds, they have had two players ejected (Hedo Turkoglu and J.J. Redick) and two players sitting out with one-game suspensions (Dwight Howard and Rafer Alston).

--The Magic continue to juggle their lineups. They have used four different starting lineups in the first two rounds of the playoffs.

--Magic center Dwight Howard campaigned against giving Boston center Kendrick Perkins a flagrant foul-2 that would have resulted in a one-game suspension after Game 3. Perkins had caught Mickael Pietrus with an elbow to the face that was borderline dirty and reviewed by the league office. But even before the NBA had finished its review, Howard was on record as saying that Perkins should be allowed to play in Game 4. "I don't want him to sit out," Howard said. "I want to play against their best."

QUOTE TO NOTE: "The only guy who made a mistake on the last play was me." -- Magic coach Stan Van Gundy, after his team lost on a last-second shot.
