--By signing F Brandon Bass away from the Dallas Mavericks, the Magic likely will play a more conventional style of basketball than they did last season. They reached the Finals by using Rashard Lewis at power forward, even though he is better suited to be at small forward. Although Lewis was not a good rebounder, he was an outstanding three-point shooter. Bass is expected to give considerably more help to C Dwight Howard when it comes to rebounding and defense around the basket.
