PLAYER NOTES: --G Mickael Pietrus returned to action after missing almost a month with a torn ligament in his right thumb. Pietrus didn't get back his starting job Saturday, but he played in reserve, getting five points in 18 minutes.
--G J.J. Redick had his second consecutive DNP-CD (did not play, coach's decision). He has lost his reserve role to rookie Courtney Lee. Now that Mickael Pietrus is back, he will sit even more.
--G Jameer Nelson is on the best streak of his career. In the last six games, he has averaged 23 points and six assists.
MEDICAL WATCH:
--G J.J. Redick, who missed a couple of practices with a sore right foot, is healthy again.
--G Mickael Pietrus, who tore a ligament in his right thumb, returned to action Saturday.
--G Mike Wilks (torn ACL) is out for the season, recovering from surgery on his right knee. Wilks had to wait almost a month after the injury to have surgery because of the swelling.
