Orlando Magic Roster Report 2008-04-25

Orlando Magic Roster Report 2008-04-25

ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Jameer Nelson, Shooting guard Maurice Evans, Small forward Hedo Turkoglu, Power forward Rashard Lewis, Center Dwight Howard. Bench -- Guard Keyon Dooling, Center Adonal Foyle, Forward Pat Garrity, Guard Keith Bogans.

PLAYER NOTES:

--PG Jameer Nelson, who played so well in the first two games against the Raptors, collapsed on the court after the game when he was hit with back spasms just after the final buzzer. Nelson had been hit in the back earlier, but had continued to play. It wasn't until he stopped the spasms hit him. He had to be helped off the court.

--C Marcin Gortat, the rookie from Poland, played in only six regular season games, but he has played in back-to-back playoffs games as the backup to Dwight Howard. Normally, that role had gone to Adonal Foyle, but he is too slow to stick with Chris Bosh, which is why Gortat has been playing.

--G J.J. Redick was another surprise participant in Thursday game after being buried on the bench for the final month of the regular season. The Magic were so desperate to find a shooter late in the game that Redick got four minutes in the second half, but he missed his only three-point attempt.
