ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Jameer Nelson, Shooting guard Keith Bogans, Small forward Hedo Turkoglu, Power forward Rashard Lewis, Center Dwight Howard. Bench -- Center/Forward Tony Battie, Guard Courtney Lee, Guard Anthony Johnson, Forward Brian Cook.
PLAYER NOTES: --F Hedo Turkoglu, in his contract season, scored at least 20 points for the second consecutive game Saturday. He had 26. He had been in a scoring slump, deferring to Jameer Nelson and Rashard Lewis a little too much. Turkoglu, who was the NBA's Most Improved Player last season, has watched his scoring dip to accommodate Nelson's offensive surge.
--G Keith Bogans has kept his starting spot, but it's tough to see why. He has scored a combined seven points in the last three games. He has been starting since Mickael Pietrus left the lineup with a thumb injury. Pietrus has been back for the last four games, but Bogans has continued as the starter.
--G Jameer Nelson is in the midst of his best stretch as an NBA player. In the past five games, he has averaged 20 points, six assists and four rebounds. He was named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week. Nelson injured a toe in his right foot and left the game, but he returned after X-rays were negative.
MEDICAL WATCH:
--G Mickael Pietrus, who tore a ligament in his right thumb, played in his fourth consecutive game, although he still practices with a splint on the hand.
--G Mike Wilks (torn ACL) is out for the season, recovering from surgery on his right knee. Wilks had to wait almost a month after the injury to have surgery because of the swelling.
