PLAYER NOTES: --F Ryan Anderson certainly had a bounce-back game Wednesday night. On Tuesday, he made only one of 11 from three-point range. On Wednesday, he hit all three of his three-point attempts against the Suns.
--G Vince Carter missed Wednesday's game with the sprained ankle that he sustained Friday night. He sat out Sunday's game in Toronto to rest it, then returned to the lineup Tuesday in Detroit. He played poorly and decided he needed more rest, so he sat out Wednesday.
--G Mickael Pietrus returned to the lineup Wednesday after missing the previous two games with a respiratory infection. He was sent home from the last road trip because the team feared that he might have the swine flu, but that wasn't the case.
MEDICAL WATCH:
--G Vince Carter (sprained left ankle) returned to action Tuesday, but he sat out Wednesday. His status for Friday is questionable.
--C Adonal Foyle (right knee) had surgery midway in the preseason but should be ready to start playing in two weeks.
