PLAYER NOTES: --C Dwight Howard surpassed Shaquille O'Neal Friday night as the franchise's all-time leader in blocked shots. Howard now has 825 blocks. The most amazing thing about Howard achieving an all-time franchise record is that he is just 23 years old.
--G Vince Carter missed his third game of the season with a sprained left ankle, but he worked out hard Friday morning, and should be ready to return soon.
--F Ryan Anderson was having another good game -- 11 points in 19 minutes -- before he left with a sprained right ankle. Anderson, in his second NBA season, has been a very pleasant surprise for the Magic since coming in trade from New Jersey. He has averaged 15 points and five rebounds while filling in for suspended F Rashard Lewis.
--G Anthony Johnson, who has hardly played this season, left the team to attend the funeral of his father in law. Johnson has played only 21 minutes over three games this season. He lost his backup role to Jason Williams.
