--F Brandon Bass struggled in his first start with the Magic, but that was no surprise. Bass had started only five games previously in his four combined seasons with New Orleans and Dallas, and he averaged only five points in those starts. Bass started only because Rashard Lewis isn't available (10-game suspension) and Ryan Anderson is out with a sprained ankle. He had eight points and only two rebounds.

--G J.J. Redick, who has played well this season, had his worst game of the year Sunday in Oklahoma City. He played 37 minutes and managed only five points. He hit two of 11 shots.

--G Matt Barnes might not have played if the Magic had more guys available. He was suffering from flu-like symptoms throughout the day, but he played because the Magic had only eight other players available.

MEDICAL WATCH:

--F Ryan Anderson (sprained right ankle) was hurt Friday in the third quarter and he is expected to miss several games.

--G Vince Carter (sprained left ankle) missed his fourth game Sunday, but he is expected to return Tuesday in Charlotte.

--C Adonal Foyle (right knee) had surgery midway in the preseason but should be ready to start playing in two weeks.
