Orlando Magic Roster Report 2009-11-26

Orlando Magic Roster Report 2009-11-26ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Jason Williams, Shooting guard Vince Carter, Small forward Mickael Pietrus, Power forward Rashard Lewis, Center Dwight Howard. Bench -- Guard J.J. Redick, Guard Anthony Johnson, Forward Ryan Anderson, Center Marcin Gortat, Forward Matt Barnes.

--F Rashard Lewis led the NBA in 3-pointers made last season (220), but he can't find the range so far this season. He is shooting just 17.2 percent (5-of-29) after missing the first 10 games of the season.

--G Jason Willams scored 25 points Wednesday against Miami. The last time he scored that many points in an NBA game was during the 2007-08 season when he played for Miami. He had a season-high 34 that year against the Magic.

--F Brandon Bass, who signed a four-year, $18 million contract as a free agent this summer to join the Magic, has not played in the last three games, getting left out of the playing rotation.

--C Dwight Howard was the recipient of the NBA Cares Community Award for October, an honor given to one NBA player each month. It was the third time in his career that Howard has received the award for his willingness to spend his time and money helping his local community.

--G Jameer Nelson (left knee) had surgery Wednesday and is expected to be out from four to six weeks.

--C Adonal Foyle (right knee) had surgery midway in October and he has begun running on the sideline. The Magic expected him to resume practicing with the team before Thanksgiving.
