Orlando Magic Roster Report 2009-11-29

Orlando Magic Roster Report 2009-11-29ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Jason Williams, Shooting guard Vince Carter, Small forward Mickael Pietrus, Power forward Rashard Lewis, Center Dwight Howard. Bench -- Guard J.J. Redick, Guard Anthony Johnson, Forward Ryan Anderson, Center Marcin Gortat, Forward Matt Barnes.

--F Matt Barnes was fined $20,000 by the NBA for throwing a ball into the stands at the conclusion of the Magic's loss to Miami last week. Barnes was frustrated by the last-second basket by the Heat that beat the Magic. He said Saturday that he plans on appealing the fine.

--G Vince Carter received four stitches in his mouth after a first-half elbow to the face by Charlie Bell. The blow seemed to motivate him in the second half, when he scored 15 of his 25 points.

--F Brandon Bass played Saturday for the first time in five games, and he didn't miss a beat when he got into the action. In nine minutes as a reserve, he had eight points and four rebounds. He has lost his backup role to Ryan Anderson, but he has kept his head in the game.

--G Jameer Nelson (left knee) had surgery to repair some torn cartilage and is expected to be out until late December.

--C Adonal Foyle (right knee) had similar surgery midway in October and he has been working out. He should be available early in December.
