Orlando Magic Roster Report 2009-12-11

Orlando Magic Roster Report 2009-12-11ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Jason Williams, Shooting guard Vince Carter, Small forward Mickael Pietrus, Power forward Rashard Lewis, Center Dwight Howard. Bench -- Guard J.J. Redick, Guard Anthony Johnson, Forward Ryan Anderson, Center Marcin Gortat, Forward Matt Barnes.

PLAYER NOTES:

--F Matt Barnes is still upset over the $20,000 fine levied against him for throwing a ball into the stands in Orlando after the Magic lost to the Heat. He has appealed the fine, but he hasn't heard anything. He was irked that Bulls center Joakim Noah was fined $5,000 less after he sent a ball into the stands and hit a photographer.

--G Jason Williams didn't play at the University of Florida for very long -- just 20 games -- before leaving for the NBA, but he has stayed in close contact with Gators coach Billy Donovan, recently exchanging texts with him to discuss recruiting.

--G Vince Carter, who talked in the preseason about just trying to fit his game around Dwight Howard and Rashard Lewis, had a season-high 34 points Thursday against the Jazz. He took a whopping 11 three-point shots, hitting five.

MEDICAL WATCH:

--G Jameer Nelson (left knee) had surgery to repair torn cartilage and is expected to be out until late December.

--C Adonal Foyle (right knee) had surgery midway in October and he has been working out. He started traveling with the team again and should be available soon.
