--C Dwight Howard recorded his third 20-point, 20-rebound game of the series. He had 21 points and 21 rebounds, adding to his 25 points and 22 rebounds in Game 1 and 29 points and 20 rebounds in Game 2.
--G Jameer Nelson was a real key in the first-round series. He clearly outplayed T.J. Ford by averaging 17.2 points and 4.8 assists. He came into the series reading about how he was the weak link on the team, and it clearly motivated him.
--C Marcin Gortat, the rookie from Poland, played in the last four games in the series after playing in only six games in the regular season. Although he didn't play much -- just enough to rest Dwight Howard -- he has gained immensely from the experience.
