PLAYER NOTES: --G Mickael Pietrus was activated Tuesday for the first time in almost a month. He had missed 22 of the last 27 games, first with a fractured right thumb and then a fractured right wrist. He entered the game for the first time late in the first quarter and he finished with a season-high 27 points and a season-high 10 rebounds.
--G J.J. Redick looks like he will be the odd man out now that Pietrus has returned. Redick had played at least 10 minutes in each of the previous 10 games, but he didn't play at all Tuesday until the outcome had been decided late in the game.
--G Jameer Nelson said Tuesday that he remains hopeful he will be named as a reserve to the Eastern Conference All-Star team. "I think I've had a pretty good season so far," Nelson said.
MEDICAL WATCH:
--G Mickael Pietrus returned Tuesday from the fractured right wrist that caused him to miss the previous 12 games.
--G Mike Wilks (torn ACL) is out for the season, recovering from surgery on his right knee. Wilks had to wait almost a month after the injury to have surgery because of the swelling.
