--G J.J. Redick is getting discouraged about his lack of playing time once again. Although he was playing relatively well earlier this month, he can't get off the bench now that Mickael Pietrus has returned from his wrist injury.
--G Jameer Nelson was thrilled to be selected as an All-Star reserve, justifying his disappointment five years ago when he slipped through the draft and the Magic got him with the 20th selection after he had been named College Player of the Year at St. Joseph's.
MEDICAL WATCH:
--G Mickael Pietrus returned Tuesday from the fractured right wrist that caused him to miss the previous 12 games.
--G Mike Wilks (torn ACL) is out for the season, recovering from surgery on his right knee. Wilks had to wait almost a month after the injury to have surgery because of the swelling.
