PLAYER NOTES: --C Dwight Howard had his double-double streak snapped at 18 consecutive games, which tied a franchise record that he now holds with Shaquille O'Neal. Howard missed the chance to surpass O'Neal because he had only 12 points and eight rebounds on Wednesday.
--G J.J. Redick had another good game, even in defeat Wednesday night. On Tuesday, he had 10 points and hit the huge three-pointer to send the game into overtime. On Wednesday, he had 14 points and hit 4-of-8 from three-point range.
--G Mickael Pietrus has left the door open for J.J. Redick to get more playing time because he has not played well since returning to the active roster. Since he came back from his fractured right wrist and returned to the starting lineup, Pietrus has reached double-figure scoring just once in six games.
