PLAYER NOTES: --G Mickael Pietrus is getting closer to regaining his starting spot, and it could happen as early as Monday night at Detroit. Rookie Courtney Lee has been manning the position -- he first got it when Pietrus was hurt -- but Lee has struggled lately. He had just two points and one rebound in 32 minutes against Boston.
--C Dwight Howard had five blocked shots Sunday, which was a good indication that the Magic would be successful. In his career, the Magic are 74-36 in games which Howard has three or more blocked shots.
--G Rafer Alston continued his consistent play that has marked his short time in Orlando. Alston, who replaced Jameer Nelson as the point guard, has scored in double-figures eight consecutive games, but he never has had more than 15 points in any of those games. He had 10 points and eight assists Sunday against Boston.
